The last gingerbread treat at our Gingerbread party…. The best of them all, in my opinion. So dang good you keep taking nibbles until you realize you’ve eaten more than you should’ve- that kinda good :) I was laying off sweets since my throat hurt but once I took a bite of these puppies… there was no turning back.
Not gonna lie, when these first came outta the oven, it looked like a gooey, meaty entree. The tastiest meaty entree I’ve ever had! ;) Maybe it’s because I doubled the recipe? Either way, definitely let them set up for a while. I liked them even more the day after.
The regular recipe calls for Gingerbread Oreos, but seeing as you have to be super vigilant in getting to the stores right when they get in (which is like September), they were long gone by the time I found out about them. So I used the ginger thin cookies I had- love those things! I love, love how it turned out! Though I don’t love, love how my pictures turned out for it. :/ These don’t make it look as delicious as they really are. That’s what happens when I’m pressed for time with a gazillion other things going on. At least I got a picture. If I make them again, I will repost a better pic :)

Yes, I tasted these also. I love the regular magic bars. These were terrific. Really nice change in flavor. Yeah Laura.
