It’s weird to think that in our last family picture, our sweet Mikayla was still here with us. I could not bear to get family pictures last year, it was too soon. Even this year, I probably wouldn’t have done them if it weren’t for little Spencer. The year before, in 2009, Mikkie was the same age as Spencer in this year’s. Another reason that made me feel more up to getting pictures is (besides the fact that I love them) we will still always have Mikkie in our pictures….in a frame. I’ve heard of other families doing this who have lost a child and I LOVE the idea. So when people see our family picture, they will always know that we have THREE children, not two.

We’ve taken a lot of pictures in the rural areas and I was really wanting to try out some urban ones this time. Urban and bright. I’m all about bright and bold :) A lot of hard work, blood and sweat went into planning out our outfits, making sure they all blended well (haha ;) Hubby may not disagree with that ;) In the end, I loved it all together especially when we showed up and I heard Marcie’s excitement over how we looked :) We found some pretty gnarly brightly colored walls- pretty sure there was a naughty word that had to be photoshopped out though hah.
The one of our three sweet adorable kids… def one of my Favorites!!! Makes my heart melt. I couldn’t be more happy with how these all turned out, love every one of them! I’m anxious to get them up on my wall!
