Saturday we had our annual pumpkin carving party with hubby’s fam, it was lots of fun! It’s been keeping me busy to plan, and when I’m busy I’m happy, so that’s a good thing :) The only thing that slowed me down a bit is my back, it’s killing me, but I can hang in there for only 9 more weeks!!!

Our Menu:

Vegetarian Chili with bread bowls (a local grocery store carries pumpkin bread bowls, so festive!)

Chips and salsa (the same store carries these fun black and orange tortilla chips, I was in LOVE when I saw them :)

Mummy Pizza (for kids)

Mummy Pops

Monster Munch Popcorn

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Truffles

Double Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Chip Cookies

Caramel Apple Cider (so good!)

Vampire’s blood

Others brought some yummy veggies and fruit dips! It all tasted great!

Our guests:

Ryan as his Facebook page

Harry Potter

Harper Patisserie with their little cupcake (tim was the picture taker and didn’t get one of her!)

Fred & Wilma

Superman

Cute little witch

We have another party coming up, so I will post pictures of our costumes then! :)

What fun costumes! I love them all!

I did a vampire pumpkin ( looks scarier with mouth all lit up :)

Tim, as usual did something random, made a christmas tree…. hah

Faith did a skeleton potato head.(sold at Target) very clever idea so kids don’t have to use knives!

The other pumpkins were:

Grim Reaper, Ariel, lightning bolt, candy corn, Mac apple. They all turned out so awesome! Love the creativity!

Everyone was so awesome to come and help out with everything! I love this tradition, every year is so much fun and I always look forward to it!
